Inicial Connects Beijing and Lisbon

Beijing and Lisbon came together around the table in an initiative led by Inicial – Giving Brands a World to Explore. Everyone benefits when dialogues are established – in creativity, business, and knowledge. This is why Inicial embraced the challenge from Beijing Normal University to organize and bring the perspective of Portuguese professionals, experts, and academics to the Dialogue Tour, which stopped in Portugal.

The event highlighted the impact of digitalization on the future of the world and global society. Key discussions included the remarkable marathon of digitizing Portuguese cinema, aiming to preserve the history and memory of over 1,000 works by 2026. Another highlight was the Looking China documentary program, which has already produced over 1,000 films, inviting international students to travel to China and share fresh perspectives.

It was a memorable afternoon, during which Inicial reconnected with long-time collaborators like Austin Jun Luo from the Academy for International Communication of Chinese Culture, further strengthening ties between cultures and countries.

The Dialogue Tour, organized with the support of Inicial, continued its journey to Barcelona, Madrid, and Geneva.
